Energy Materials and Electron Microscopy Group

Welcome to YUK Lab

>

We are exploring in situ study of structure, phase, nucleation, growth, defects, interface, and facets in nano-, energy-, and 2D-materials and direct imaging or 3D imaging of soft materials (organic or bio-materials) with a focus on the application of aberration-corrected scanning/transmission electron microscope (S/TEM), electron diffraction pattern (EDP), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). We are looking for highly motivated under/graduate students or post-doc whose backgrounds are materials science, physics, electronic engineering, chemistry or mechanical engineering to join our group.

Request for TEM analysis: If you have a request for TEM analysis or research collaboration, directly contact Prof. Yuk via email or phone.
